On the day I used water from the pond to help me dilute the paints and add shading.
Here shows the process of me painting with organic paint I made. I first made sure I created a rough accurate outline of my composition before adding the paints. Some people have been confused as to what media I used for my entry for the Pontypool Plein Air painting Competition :) I collected various leaves, flowers and berries from around Pontypool Park and then processed them into the paints. I collected and burnt wood from the park to make a charcoal pigment paint. On the day I used water from the pond to help me dilute the paints and add shading. I had a really good time and it was lovely to see everyone else's amazing work!
