Here is a piece I painted from handmade blueberry paint and charcoal pigment paint. This was an experimental piece exploring the different tones and effects I could create with organic materials. I enjoyed using the carved wooden dip pen I made as the more I used it, the softer the nib of the pen became, making it easier to absorb paint. The still life that I set up contains all of the materials and tools I used to make my organic paints and this piece.
